Positano + Capri, Italy - Part II

While in Positano we took a day trip to the island of Capri. Chris had plan this day from beginning to end, and if you know Chris.. you know everything was perfectly planned. But of course my lack of attention to detail costs us to miss a great deal of what he had plan. Right before boarding the ferry to Capri, I found some Dramamine that I had bought in the airport in case we got nauseous in the plane  so of course I pulled it out! and said: Chris! we should take this just in case we get nauseous in the ferry! my sweet husband listened to me.. and we not just took one but two!! (I had never had Dramamine before and the most curious thing about this whole story is that we've never gotten sea sick ever!... this whole idea was a 'just in case' deal.. so we both pop in two tablets! it was only a few minutes when we started to feel beyond drowsy! and by drowsy I mean we could not keep our eyes open! Of course I looked at the package and sure enough it said: 'it may cause marked drowsiness', yikes! Chris' fabulous plan was to take me to an amazing restaurant called La Fontelina, take the funicular up the mountain where the restaurant has their own private shuttle, drive you to their private boat! to take you to an even smaller island! where you get to eat your meal while sunbathing in front of the Mediterranean sea! does that sound beautiful or what? well needless to say. we didn't do any of that because by the time we got up the mountain in the funicular we were so exhausted that even walking around was painful! We clearly remember having the feeling of being inside a dream or something like that! The only thing we could do was to sit down, have gelato and try to keep our eyes open. Chris was beyond disappointed and we barely saw any of Capri. On our way back we decided to jump into the water to wake up! that was probably the most fun part about this whole day.

This is one of the many teeny tiny trucks that go up and down the mountain in Positano! aren't they adorable?

And this was our last night in Positano, waiting for our ride to take us up the mountain to a restaurant.
